Palani (122 km)

Another of the six houses of Lord Subramanya. The temple of the Lord is situated at the top of the hill at a height of around 200 m. (550 ft.). A number of rare herbs of immense medicinal value also grow on the slopes of the 
Palani hill.

There are lot of lodges available and the rate of per room ranges from Rs 50 to Rs 750. A/C Rooms are also available. Some of the famous lodges are Deepam Lodge, Hotel Ganpat, Hotel TamilNad. 

The temperature ranges from 25 degree celcius to 33 degree celcius. 

Taking photos is not allowed inside the temple. Shoes or slippers or any kind of footwear are not allowed inside the temple.
